Whether you're looking for seasonal work or the career of a lifetime, join us today to reach your peak. *SUMMARY OF JOB:* Responsible for the general cleaning and upkeep of public space and other assigned areas such as hallways, elevators, restrooms, and hotel lobby. This includes vacuuming, shampooing of carpets; cleaning/washing of floors; trash removal; stocking and maintaining supply rooms and other cleaning duties. *SAFETY & PEACE OF MIND:* * All employees will begin their work experience by participating in comprehensive safety training. * Face coverings, physical distancing, daily health screenings and temperature checks will be mandatory. * More details on our policies can be found [here](). *ESSENTIAL JOB REPOSNSIBILITIES:* * Walk assigned floors at beginning and end of shift; remove newspapers and service trays, remove trash and/or linens and note any areas that need immediate cleaning. * Clean public areas-hallways, elevators, service areas, stairwells, etc. * Remove dirty linen, terry and trash from the srvice areas and take to the appropiate locations. * Assist sectional housekeepers as needed (i.e moving furniture, roll away beds, etc.). * Reporting missing or damaged articles, and submit all found items to Loss Prevention. * Respond to guest request and questions and report guest issues and complaints in a hospitable manner to ensure guest satisfaction. * Ensure that all the hallways are clear of trash and used room service trays have been taken to the stewarding department. * Report any maintenance issues in a timely manner to ensure all items are logged. * Transport baby cribs and roll away beds to the guest rooms. * Ensures the department leads the charge in regard to recycling efforts and environmental inititatives. * Other duties as assigned. *JOB REQUIREMENTS:* * High school or GED peferred. * One year previous experience in resort of similar size and quality. * Ability to communicate in English to guest and employees. The budgeted range starts at $15.00. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
