Executive Chef Armando Navarro's award-winning and locally-loved menu is crafted from Sonoma ingredients that change with the season. The robust wine list is a virtual tour through California wine country and includes more than 200 selections. We are currently interviewing for Part-Time and Full-Time Servers! *weekend availability is required*Please respond to this ad or stop by the restaurant between 3pm and 6pm to fill out an application. 405 1st St W, Sonoma, CA 95476As the Server, you will take food and beverage orders, retrieve and serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages and food orders to guests' tables according to restaurant and/or hotel service standards and specifications, courteously and efficiently. Collect payments. Assist in the maintenance of the restaurant area and equipment and provide quality service.REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:Ability to: Be well organized, maintain concentration and think clearly when providing service to guests within any given period of time. Focus attention on details. Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team. Provide legible communication. Compute basic mathematical calculations. Perform job functions with minimal supervision. Be a team player - need to be willing to lend a helping hand to any teammate at any time.· Maintain complete knowledge of, and strictly abide by, state liquor regulations (particularly those prohibiting service to minors and intoxicated persons, and drunk driving).· Maintain complete knowledge of, and comply with, all departmental policies/service procedures.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 21 years of age. One year of experience as a casual upscale dining Server or equivalent. Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding. Food Handler Certification.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: High school graduate Computer training on P.O.S. system, preferably Aloha.
