Peach's Restaurants is hiring Managers in Training! Managers in Training participate in a training program that prepares candidates to lead restaurant operations in both the front and back of house.At Peach's Restaurants, our managers are working managers and must be able to work in FOH and BOH positions efficiently, and provide excellent customer service to our guests.Upon successful completion of the MIT program, candidates will become an assistant manager at one of Peach's locations, and report directly to the general manager of that restaurant. Our managers are eligible for great benefits such as quarterly bonuses, paid time off, medical benefits, paid training, and competitive salaries.Prior restaurant experience is a must; as well as willingness to learn and adapt to ongoing feedback from general and area managers throughout your training, ability to be a team player, and keeping a positive attitude in a fast-paced work environment are other qualities we look for in a MIT candidate.Work Environment:Our MITs work at one of our ten Peach's restaurants, and may train at multiple locations. They work in both the back of the house and front of the house in all positions as a cook, dishwasher, server, and host under the general manager.Restaurant operation hours are 6:00am-2:30pm 7 days a week. Opening shifts can be as early as 5:00am. Our restaurants serve breakfast and lunch to a high volume of guests. Weekend availability is a must as those are Peach's busiest days.Please visit our website for more information about our restaurants: DutiesAssume managerial duties in the absence of the GM.Know floor plan including table numbers and server's sections.Enthusiastically greet and seat guests with warm, friendly service and ensure guests are happy when they leave.Provide a friendly greeting for guests, confirm the number in the party, and ask for seating preference and special needs.Escort guests to table, walking at their pace, assist if necessary and inform server of special needs.Thank guests when they are leaving, ask them to return, inquire about their dining experience by asking how everything was.Communicate with kitchen when large parties arrive.Maintain restaurant at the level necessary to meet or exceed the company standards.Responsible for new hire training: store operations, company policies and specific tasks.Utilize labor effectively to meet budgets while ensuring high quality of quality, service and cleanliness.Follow procedures to maintain the safety and security of all employees, customers and company assets.Uphold company food safety, food handling and sanitation requirements.Manage restaurant cash control by preparing bank deposits, daily cash reports and maintaining an accurate restaurant change fund.Ensure product quality at all times and an appearance of cleanliness in the restaurant and staff.Regularly oversee dining room and restrooms for cleanliness and take action where needed.Responsible for end of the day restroom cleaning.
