By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Take and place order, and serve and garnish food and drinks efficiently and accurately in work area as applicableCollect money, while following all proper cash handling and comp proceduresMaintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and the appearance of the front and back of house, clear tables and counters; sweep and maintain the cleanliness of the dining area without interfering with the comfort of guestsPack and complete order as per guests preference with any necessary condimentsProperly label and date products per safety and sanitation proceduresPerform opening and closing duties based upon shift assignmentUnload warehouse orders and stock the orders to designated storage maintaining organization, stock and replenish products as needed in work station, counters, tables, etc.Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise, refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theftPerform other job-related duties as requestedKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of menu items, including mixing and serving beverages, standard beverage recipes, preparation methods, glassware, garnishes, products, menu items, supplies and equipmentKnowledge of standard kitchen equipment, including, but not limited to toasters, refrigerators and coolers, slicers and beverage machinesKnowledge of health, safety and sanitation regulationsBasic computer skills and experience with varied Point of Sale (POS) systemsAble to handle multiple types of information and/or perform multiple tasksExcellent customer service skills as well as interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contactsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidaysPREFERRED:One (1) year of experience as a food handler in a similar, high-volume, fast paced restaurantOne (1) year of experience of guest service experienceExperience working in a similar resort setting
