Job Description

What will you be doing most days?

  • -Solicit new accounts and maintain and strengthen relationships with existing accounts
    -Generate a minimum of 50 calls weekly encompassing telemarketing, site inspections, and outside field calls with weekly documentation
    -Responsible for prospecting, qualifying, selling, and closing
    -Meet with or call individual, corporate, and social clients by telephone to solicit annual, weekday, and weekend business
    -Meet with clients and conduct a professional, thorough site inspection of the hotel with them exhibiting the key features and benefits of the hotel
    -Develop and conduct persuasive verbal sales presentations to prospective clients
    -Develop client menus, write contracts and letters, as well as, organize all other arrangements as they relate to social and corporate events
    -Work to continuous meet or exceed sales goals
    -Supervise and attend the overall set up and implementation of events and meetings
    -Take full ownership of all functions such as processing payment
    -Provide prompt guest service and timely follow up with prospective clients
    -Participate as a team player with other key leaders and demonstrate hospitable behavior as a role model for all other team members
    -Develop full working knowledge of the operations of the Catering Events, including Food and Beverage Department, Guest Services, and Housekeeping
