In April of 2021, Northview Hotel Group who owns and operates several iconic hotels and resorts in the United States (including The Boca Raton, Brasada Ranch Resort, Tapatio Springs Resort and The Beach House) purchased the Sir Francis Drake Hotel and began an extensive renovation. The hotel is now poised to reclaim its once and future legendary status when it reopens later this year.

The Director of Sales and Marketing (DOSM) reports to the Managing Director and is primarily responsible for driving top line revenue through strategic leadership of the sales and catering teams and all marketing functions. The Sir Francis Drake will be an independent hotel and a successful DOSM will have a proven track record leading a Sales and Marketing team. The DOSM will take an active role in creating exciting packages and promotions that capture the imagination and delight customers. They will monitor the market, keeping hotel stakeholders informed about emerging trends and opportunities. This high profile role in San Francisco will be the ambassador for the hotel, opening doors and creating partnerships with the business community.
