Job Description

Hotelbeds has an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about tourism and travel! We are looking for a Yield Manager to join our team in Florida!


This position is responsible for ensuring availability and competitiveness of a selected group of properties in the Rest of West Region with the purpose of maximizing the profit of the room nights sold. General support to Destination and Product Contract Managers while being a support to the colleagues in the Yielding Team.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


PRODUCT MAINTENANCE:


  • Maximizing contracts conditions in terms of competitiveness analysis, availability, special offers, stop sales renegotiation.
  • Maintain Contracts and update offers.
  • Guarantee that all products are available for all channels at the correct rate.
  • Increase and Promote management of Rates and Availability through extranet and Channel Managers
  • Daily coordination with Contract Manager
  • Support any request that comes from Area Yield Manager


COMPETITIVENESS & POSITIONING:


  • Analyze weekly reports to ensure all products has competitive pricing
  • Positioning: Ensure all top producing products are positioned strategically on our websites
  • Regular spot checks/auditing on existing Hotel information to ensure accuracy


PROMOTIONS & ANALYSIS:


  • Following up on Trading evolution vs last year and targets in coordination with Contract Manager.
  • Special follow up on key agreements
  • Identifying additional Business Opportunities
  • Reporting to Area Yield Manager on actions taken and results


POSSIBLE ADDITIONAL TASKS:


  • Assist with Hotel invoicing discrepancies
  • Assist other departments when operational issues are escalated
