We are looking for a dynamic QC/QA Technician with a passion for quality and interest in flavors for the Food and Beverage Industry. The successful candidate is diligent with an eye for detail and continuous improvement reporting to our Director of Quality and Regulatory.


Position Summary:

This position is responsible for performing tasks under supervision and independently as defined related to Quality Control. The position holder supports in QA/ Food Safety audits of certification bodies, external and internal customers with the highest service level, timely and in compliance with US and/or international regulations.


The position holder performs testing with analytical instruments, develops methods and documents flawlessly results in the company ERP system.


The position is responsible to provide accurate and timely responses to customers (COA's) and customer QA questionnaires and other related documents.


The position holder is responsible for updating the QC related SOPs and WPs.

She/he will help to maintain information about compliance documentation in the company's Document Control System(s).

Job Requirements:

  • Solid knowledge of US and international chemical and food standards and testing, but other experience will be considered, and/or ability to research and interpret regulatory information as required and appropriately related to food / flavoring requirements (FCC specifications). Instrumental analysis work or flavor analysis is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively with customers and all levels within the organization.
  • Strong knowledge in food science, health and nutrition, food manufacturing processes and/or food ingredients/additives.
  • High organizational, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office programs.
  • Investigation, documentation, analysis and interpretation of data.
  • Self-starter who delivers against tight deadlines as a team player.
  • Strong sense of customer service and work ethics.


Education Requirements:

BS degree in science (food/biology/chemistry) is required.

Certifications in Food Safety, HACCP and or auditing experience is a plus.

Knowledge in instrumental analysis and method development for food or flavorings testing is a plus.

This position is not eligible for relocation benefits. On-site work is required. Non local candidates are encouraged to apply if they can relocate independently to the Los Angeles metro area prior to starting work.
