JOB SUMMARY: Ensure guest satisfaction and revenue optimization through fulfilling guest inquiries for all amenities, services, and transportation. Provide service to resort guests and Ballantyne corporate tenants

JOB DUTIES:

  • -Informed of all events/functions in the hotel and within the City of Charlotte and surrounding areas
.
-Responds to guest requests promptly, promotes hotel services, facilities and outlets, provides guest with information such as local attractions and directions or travel arrangements to increase satisfaction.
-Responsible for all incoming calls for the hotel and updating of any voice messages as assigned.
-Resolves guest complaints to the satisfaction of the customer, informs supervisor/manager of any major problems.
-May be responsible for taking reservations for The Grill Room & Sunday Brunches.
-Responsible for compiling and maintaining an inventory of Sales Packets.
-Responsible for compiling and maintaining a database of information on local business & attractions.
-Responsible for facilities walkthrough.
-Responsible for distribution of all messages to the individuals as needed in a timely manner.
-Responsible for guiding guests on a tour of the facility and advising of hotel services and amenities.
-Responsible for preliminary application procedures along with employment processing as assigned.
-Provide a professional image at all times through appearance and dress.
-Responsible for distribution/sorting of mail in a timely manner.
-Responsible for conducting customer service surveys.
-MUST be able to work a flexible shift that includes: Days, Afternoons, Nights and Weekends. Plus work Holidays as well, if needed.
Note: May be assigned other duties by supervisor or management

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • -High school education or equivalent
    -Customer Service


SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • -Excellent time management and organizational skills
    -Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    -Ability to pay close attention to detail
    -Excellent verbal communication skills

  • -Able to work overtime as needed

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • -Ability to stand, walk and regularly move about kitchen, bend, remain stationary for short periods of time, reach, hear, see, talk, grasp, perform repetitive motions and use fingers
    -Ability to push, pull, lift, carry or otherwise move carts, food cases, metros, and similar items weighing up to 70 lbs.
