Job Description

Location:National Harbor, MarylandAs a Valet Services Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising the valet services team. You will also set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Supervise the valet services team to include efficient staffing, employee development and training, performance management and policy enforcementSupervise the valet and guest service employees, ensure employees are properly trained and follow established safety standardsConducts periodic inspections of valet-designated parking areasLead the pre-shift meetings for valet/guest service employeesCompensate guests within, for service related inconveniencesResponsible for necessary staffing adjustments in order to properly accommodate guestRegulate the movement and flow of traffic to ensure the casino provides efficient and effective guest services and avoids traffic congestion and delaysRespond effectively to guest inquiries providing excellent guest serviceResolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise refers the matter to management; notify supervisor and/or Security of unusual eventsPerform other job-related duties as requestedKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Able to operate manual transmission vehicleAble to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal formsAbility to communicate effectively, concisely and logically in a timely manner and at an appropriate level, while maintaining confidentialityAbility to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environmentBasic knowledge of computer software to include Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as office equipment, i.e. telephone, copier, fax machineExcellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detailExcellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contactsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:High school diploma or equivalentOne (1) year of related experienceWork varied shifts, to include weekends and holidaysPREFERRED:Bachelor's degree in business administration or related fieldTwo (2) years experience as a Supervisor in a customer service environment
