The Line Cook is responsible for skillfully creating delicious meals from the freshest ingredients to achieve delighted experiences for every guest in support of our company-wide mission of offering deliciousness served with graciousness in all that we do. The position is also responsible for preparing chowders, sandwiches, salads and daily specials for takeout, performing all station functions in the assigned cooking area, communicating ticket times and potential problems to the Chef on duty, and performing all other responsibilities as directed by the business or assigned management of which the employee is capable of performing. This is a non-exempt position and reports to the Chef.
Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of closely related professional kitchen experience or education, working knowledge of applicable safety and sanitation procedures, advanced knife handling skills and demonstrated ability to follow recipes and prepare food items to order.
The position pays $18.00 per hour plus an additional $4.00 per hour in Hero Pay through mid August and participates in the tip pool.
Must have a valid WA State Food Worker Card.
