Comida means food, and our roots are street food, honest and real. What started humbly as a food truck in 2010 has moved off the street to a full service restaurant, where everything continues to be hand made, with care, using the best ingredients we can source. The food is largely Mexican/Latin inspired, with a healthy influence from the U.S. south.
We are located inside of the Stanley Marketplace, just outside of Central Park (formerly Stapleton); where we are currently looking to hire a full time assistant chef. Availability on weekends and evenings is a must.
The ideal candidate for this position thrives in a fast-paced environment and will succeed in the role if they have an eye for detail, and have the confidence to lead a team through to a successful shift. It is essential for this person to communicate and coordinate with our head chef, and be able to work as a team to handle the day-to-day stresses that come from running a busy restaurant.
Much of the kitchen are Spanish speakers, and it would be up to you to communicate and delegate to the team as needed.
