This position requires keen customer service and knowledge to provide memorable experiences for our guests. One of the first tenets of operating a successful spa is efficiency and accuracy in maintaining exemplary customer service and a clean space. The Attendant's main job objective is the overall cleanliness of Bayside Spa & Paseo Fitness. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: customer service, daily cleaning of the pools, maintaining par levels of robes, towels, water, locker room supplies as well as the fitness center. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
-Time management, accuracy, attention to detail and exceptional customer service is key to this position.
-Daily maintenance of the indoor and outdoor pools and whirlpools through daily vacuuming and filling.
-Re-stock towels throughout the spa facilities.
-Ensure the proper levels of folded robes and sandals, ready for use by guests.
-Maintain expectable levels of all spa amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, shower gels, razors, combs, mouthwash and any other amenities used by our guests in the locker rooms.
-Keep the fitness equipment organized i.e. yoga mats rolled and put away, exercise balls put away, rubber mats under workout equipment are need and straightened.
-Conduct frequent locker room, indoor pool, outdoor pool and fitness center checks.
-Remove dirty towels, robes, sandals and headphones to their respective areas for cleaning.
-Become an expert in knowing all the spa services and amenities.
-Assist with guest suggestions/complaints in regards to spa cleanliness and equipment while effectively communicating information to management staff.
-Problem solve when necessary.
-Follow the daily checklist to ensure all aspects/duties are completed daily.
