Job Description

The Marketplaces Manager reports to the SVP of Digital. The Manager is fully responsible for Super Coffee's e-commerce presence on Amazon,, and other eRetailers like Thrive Market.

The ideal candidate is equal parts technical and creative, and enjoys getting to the granular levels of detail on each as it applies to succeeding in your field. You obsess over Amazon and the customer journey and are passionate about testing and iterating in order to find efficiency gains at every stage of the funnel and in order to drive the flywheel. Lastly, we are looking for a team player as comfortable doing the detailed work as they are capable of developing long-term strategy, vision and meaningful change.

Core Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy and P&L for Amazon, including acquisition and retention efforts
  • Develop daily, weekly, monthly channel KPI targets and manage sales and marketing spends accordingly
  • Monitor and manage e-comm sales operations and execution across platforms
  • Quickly catch any issues, acting urgently to address in order to maintain velocity
  • Lead traffic generation and conversion rate optimization efforts for Amazon
  • Drive e-comm content and copywriting efforts implementing best practices for SEO and conversion on the platforms you oversee
  • Set the standard for fast A/B testing, experimentation, and iteration to continuously improve acquisition levers and advertising performance
  • Structure, develop and retain a highly talented agency and freelance roster to accomplish the business objectives on budget
  • Monitor inventory levels regularly in order to stay in-stock across platforms
  • Establish the req'd analytics tools and frameworks to inform decision making
  • Pursue continuous learning and development in order to advance best practices

Required Skills

  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and with multiple levels of seniority
  • Ability to empathize with consumer personas different to yourself
  • A great degree of creativity and day-to-day flexibility is required
  • A natural eye for detail and visual aesthetics is ideal
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and a technical can-do attitude

Required Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Economics, or Psychology preferred
  • 3+ years of experience managing and scaling an Amazon Vendor or Seller FBA business is required
  • Experience managing or overseeing agency to execute Amazon PPC required
  • Experience managing, Thrive Market, and other eRetail a plus
  • Consumer packaged goods industry experience is a plus
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel
