LGO Hospitality has fantastic opportunities in restaurant management. The leadership in our organization is comprised of individuals who care about hospitality, culture, food, and drink. If you thrive in a high-energy, professional, team-based environment, then we want to hear from you.
Our restaurant group has locations in Santa Monica and Pasadena that are well-known by locals and international travelers alike for our farm-to-table menus, historic architecture, thoughtful interior design, and exceptional service. We are currently seeking Restaurant Managers in both areas.
Every item on our menu, from the entrees to the craft cocktails, is created in house, by us. Our Executive Chefs make bi-weekly trips to the local farmers markets to create our seasonal menus and features. We treat honest ingredients simply, highlighting their natural flavors while supporting local people and cultures.
Our service style is far from the typical corporate model; we create systems that empower our staff to execute at the highest level through heightened awareness and accountability. As a Manager, you will coach and mentor your team with empathy and resilience to set, reach, and exceed goals.
Our Leadership Principles:
* Collaboration : We encourage our Restaurant Managers to contribute creatively to our menus, methods, and procedures, and challenge their thinking at every step, gradual or sudden, these paradigm shifts help us to realign our purpose and be effective in our roles.
* Lifestyle Company : We are committed to a five-day workweek and offer two weeks paid vacation per year, with an extra week after three years with the company. Managers earn a four-week paid sabbatical after their tenth anniversary.
* Training and Development : Monthly leadership classes offer ongoing training for managers at every level; honing skills by delving into specific areas of the business, teaching our employees to be true restaurateurs. Managers track their development quarterly at interactive goal meetings, providing them with the tools to expand their professional knowledge and personal growth.
* Compensation and Promotions : We believe in generously compensating and rewarding our employees. We pay based on experience, talent, emotional maturity, rather than using archaic models or set budgets. Our cultural success depends on our ability to promote from within. Many of our Executive Chefs and General Managers were promoted into their roles.
Your positive energy and emotional maturity, not necessarily years of management experience, will qualify you.
