Job Description

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Assist the Chefs in maintaining food quality and brand presentation standards.
* Ensures that stations are properly set up and broken down during each shift.
* Ability to run and lead kitchen person through training and kitchen knowledge.
* Team player that leads by example.
* Assist with maintaining high kitchen sanitation; guidelines are set by the Executive Chef and local health department.
* Monitors and has hands on control of daily food presentation..
* Demonstrates an understanding of company rules and procedures and communicates with the HR team when necessary.
* Stock all items for expediter line
* Possess full menu knowledge and ability to verbal it to the guests
* Possess knowledge of floor plan and daily stations
* Possess knowledge of table numbers and seat numbers
* Follow proper service procedures when delivering food
* Offer condiments (pepper, cheese etc.) when appropriate
* Communicate with server to ensure efficient service
* Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the floor manager or immediate supervisor
* Be able to work on your feet for long periods of time
* Be able to lift more than 20 lbs
* Be able to carry large tray and hold warm plates
* Be able to work on your feet for long periods of time
* Be able to lift & carry trays
* Assist other FOH staff to perform setting up restaurant, cleaning restaurant, running food.
* Perform all duties while following all health department sanitation requirements
* No consumption of alcoholic beverages while working
* Must be able to read, write and speak English
