Position: Local Bounti is seeking to hire a DevOps Engineer.

Job Overview: The DevOps Engineer will be instrumental in helping the CIO implement both on premise and cloud solutions as well as support the company with IT related issues. This individual will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the company's systems and security. This is a hands-on role working directly with the CIO.

Reports to Chief Information Officer

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures for managing systems.
  • Deploy and maintain company networks including VLANs, VPNs, Site-to-Sites and Firewalls.
  • Deploy/Maintain cloud infrastructure in AWS, Azure, GCP.
  • Provision Windows and Linux Servers.
  • Deploy and maintain company databases.
  • Ability to deploy and maintain Active Directory and Group Policy.
  • Experience with SaaS solutions like Google Workspace, Okta, Asana, Slack, etc.
  • Secure network system by establishing and enforcing policies and defining and monitoring access.
  • Maintain a fleet of Mac and Windows computers including deploying and receiving to remote workforce and managing MDM.
  • Keep abreast of industry best practices and technological advancements to bring ideas that will help advance the team's goals.
  • Troubleshoot level 1 -3 IT tickets and provide efficient and results-focused solutions.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent discipline required.
  • 2+ years applicable work experience.
  • CCNA preferred.
  • Expert knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Hand-on, motivated, self-starter with extraordinary attention to detail.
  • Scripting experience in BASH, Python, or PowerShell.
