Job Description

Full-Time Experienced Line Cook $16 +Tips (Avg $24/hour total)


Looking for a Full-Time Line/prep cook at The Rotary, a fast-casual rotisserie restaurant in the Hilltop area of Denver. Must have minimum 2 years experience. Culinary school is preferred, but not a must. $16 an hour plus tips (tips are currently averaging $8/hour on top of normal $16 wage).

Qualifications and position characteristics

  • Candidate must be punctual, hardworking, reliable and able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Must display a pleasant and cheerful disposition
  • Have a good eye for presentation
  • Able to follow recipes, make sauces, dressings and prep food prior to lunch and dinner
  • Performs additional daily cleaning assignments; including stoves, ovens, refrigerators, and storage areas
  • Ensure that all dishes are prepared in a timely and efficient manner
  • Can adapt in difficult situations, solve problems and make decisions when necessary
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the line supervisor, sous-chef, or executive chef
  • Must have ability to perform multiple tasks at one time in a stressful environment
  • Must be able to follow verbal and written instruction
  • The ability to work well with others and communicate ideas is essential
  • Prior experience with a rotisserie and grilling meats is beneficial but not required

Pay starts at $16 an hour plus tips (averaging $20+/hour)
