We're looking for a Senior Manager, Business Optimization to help lead our efforts, leading Special Projects & Performance Management at Seabourn and for assisting with defining the brand strategy. The Senior Manager will be responsible for developing business cases, coordinating stakeholders, and playing a project management role in execution. Will also work directly with senior executives to analyze data, draw conclusions, and present recommendations.


The Senior Manager, Business Optimization will work with teams across Seabourn. This position is primarily located in our Seattle location, but open to the Los Angeles or Miami areas. Seabourn offers strong compensation and outstanding benefits including cruise travel.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Special Projects as defined by the business (likely will drive 2-3 projects at a time)
  • Support Performance Management with ad hoc analytics
  • In the short term, focus will be placed on ensuring a successful go-to-market launch for of our new Expedition ships, Seabourn Venture and its sister ship.
  • Example projects may include: redefining the brand go-to-market strategy, reimagining the onboard experience, launching new products, building targeted marketing capabilities, deploying new tools, etc.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Engineering, Math, Science or Business-related field
  • 4+ years of work experience in Corporate Strategy and/or Management Consulting (at the Senior Business Analyst / Senior Associate level)
  • Experience in an analytical role
  • Strong written communication and presentation skills; can develop recommendations and present to senior executives independently
  • Able to manage deliverables for several projects at once
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Has led projects independently
  • Has previously led business projects independently (needs to be highly self-directed)


Preferred

  • MBA is a plus but not required
  • 1st year Project Leader / Engagement Manager at a leading consulting firm
  • Comfort with Tableau, Google Data Studio, Datorama, Power BI or equivalent data visualization software
  • Can identify and articulate the business implications of analytical results, make business-focused recommendations, and report findings/recommendations to senior leadership clearly and concisely
  • Has previously managed 1-2 analysts
