Berber Restaurant and Supper Club is an exclusive haven of North Africa located in the Russian Hill Neighborhood. WHAT IS BERBER?A nod to the warm hospitality of the aboriginal Berbers of North African - also known as the free, noble people - our restaurant goes beyond satisfying your hunger. Our noteworthy dinner shows offer live provocative cirque performances.We are seeking a dedicated, creative Sous Chef with a minimum of 3 years experience that is interested in growing and investing in their career. The ideal candidate is a team player that takes direction well but is also comfortable stepping into a leadership role. You'll have the opportunity to work closely with our Executive Chef on menu development of our revisited Morroccan and Mediterranean cuisine as well as running the day-to-day operations. Basic job functions include but are not limited to;Manage and oversee all hourly kitchen staffMake sure prep list is completed dailyKeep walk-in clean and organizedMaintain all standards of cleanliness and food executionOrder and receive product Able to lift 50 lbsMust be able to work weekend evenings for dinner show serviceAble to work 40-50 hours per weekCompetitive wages (based on experience).
