Job Description


Kforce has a client that is seeking a Project Manager II in Atlanta, GA. Summary: The Green Engage 2.0 project is to develop and implement a new system to help hotels monitor, manage and report their environmental impacts, driving utility efficiencies and cost savings as well as environmental improvements. The new system will include an automated energy data solution, provide both hotels and IHG corporate with real-time analytics, benchmarking and insights, offer green solutions and guidance, and provide a mechanism for green hotel certifications. You will get to work with a team from different business functions across IHG and embark on a system transformation journey to support IHG in delivering its 2030 Responsible Business ambitions. Key responsibilities:
  • Assist in overall project planning, information management and communication plan development for system pilot and roll-out
  • Lead the automated data entry work stream, coordinate with the external supplier, manage solution roll-out, monitor progress and managed risks/ issues/ mitigation measures to ensure we are on track with timelines
  • Respond to hotel inquiries related to automated-data entry solution, feedback to the project team for solution improvement
  • Assist with gathering key user requirements, system UAT and hotel roll-out of Green Engage 2.0
  • Support the development team in data mapping, collection and integration between internal systems
  • Support development of system guidance and training materials

Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field of project management and/or equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
  • 2-4 years progressive work experience

  • Highly organised, analytical and strong attention to detail
  • Highly motivated, pro-active with ideas and suggestions and can work independently, adapt to change and learn quickly
  • Ability to translate complex information into simple, visual, clear, concise communications and reports tailored to target audiences
  • Experience in implementing large scale technology transformation projects and developing training/ support materials
  • Strong ability to collaborate effectively in a complex matrix organisation, work well with a virtual team as well as third party stakeholders
