The Produce Specialist is responsible for the continuous quality of received produce, as well as the rotation of product and ensuring availability of product for daily production. Essential Functions: Receive/check-in all produce orders Computer knowledge in Google Docs, Excel, and basic data entry QC of all produce; ensure that all produce sold is of the highest quality possible Responsible for rejection of incoming produce that is not of quality standards Ensure accurate inventory of all produce Establish handling and rotation procedures for all produce items Manage the organization of all produce for production Manage all produce handling processes (inventory, storage practices, and QC care practices) Oversee production line handling of produce items to ensure proper prep methods are followed Coordinate with Warehouse Manager, Produce Manager and Produce Buyer to develop accurate loss percentage on each produce item Regular and timely attendance Physical Demands: Must be able to stand on your feet and work between 8-12 hours per shift Must be able to grasp objects and lift up to 60lbs.
