We have a commitment to understand, define, and deliver what our guests want and represent our company by being professional and courteous to all.Responsibilities• Perform preventive maintenance on kitchen equipment, to include cleaning equipment as assigned by Kitchen Technician.• Ability to learn how to troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform repairs on commercial cooking equipment.• Ability to use tools and instruments.• Ability to comprehend existing and all new equipment manufacturers warrantees to stay compliant with the manufacturers policies and guarantees. • Ability to assist in the diagnosis of kitchen equipment.• Escort subcontractors during completion of their work.• Clean all work areas after each workday and/or project completion as required.• Must be able to operate ladders, scissor lifts, boom trucks, and forklift.• Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures and according to the standards of the Casino and OSHA.• Must maintain a clean and safe workplace during and after performing maintenance tasks.• Hours are determined by a 24-hour, 7 day a week operation.• Work nights, weekends and holidays as required.• Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications• Exceptional guest services• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).• Kitchen equipment operation experience.• Basic computer skills in MS Office, Outlook, Maintenance Management Systems.• Must be able to take directions from others and have the ability to work in a team environment.• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.• Ability to work in a challenging environment dealing with sensitive issues and maintain confidentially with strong attention to detail and excellent problem solving, organizational, and time management skills.• Ability to work individually.• Working knowledge and understanding of SDS, and OSHA requirements.• Certified Forklift Operator, Aerial Lift, Scissor lift or the ability to become certified.Certificates, Licenses, Regulations• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class III/A gaming license with the Stillaguamish Tribal Gaming Agency (TGA) and the State of Washington.• Valid Driver's License.• Must provide your driving abstract in order to show proof of good driving record.• Must be able to be insured to drive company or customer vehicles by the company insurance carrier.• Must be able to obtain and maintain an Angel of the Winds' Certified Forklift Operator's License (ANSI Standards WAC 296-863 and OROSHA 1910.179) for Class I and Class IV forklifts, Aerial Lift and Scissor LiftsPhysical Demands and Work EnvironmentConstantly requires the ability to receive detailed information through oral and written communication. The position requires exerting up to 75 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 40 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Requires repetitive movement with the ability to stand and/or walk for an entire shift. This position requires being outside in different weather conditions for some of the shifts and employee is exposed to tobacco smoke on a regular basis.
