The Workforce Engagement Specialist role is an exciting and key role at Cogito. In this role, this person will support a diverse range of Cogito employees (who we call Cogicians) in various functions across the company, in their use of a flexible range of workspaces they elect under our "office optional" vision of a Cogito workspace. This role plays an integral part in providing and maintaining a positive and productive workspace environment, regardless of whether Cogicians choose to work primarily in office, primarily remote, or a hybrid of the two. This person will be responsible for workspace planning and budgeting, workspace operations, participating in the onboarding of new Cogicians, managing facility and vendor relationships, event planning and a variety of other responsibilities related to employee experience. This role will be reporting directly to the Director of People & Culture. This person will be closely involved with all aspects of a Cogician's life cycle including working with Talent during the recruiting process, People & Culture through on-boarding process as well as in planning and executing on employee engagement programs and Business Operations for vendor and facilities management. Keys for success in this role are effective communication skills (both in-person and remotely), strong organizational skills, proven experience managing complex projects involving multiple vendors, a positive, friendly and engaging attitude, availability and flexibility to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, and willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done. The main goal of the Workforce Engagement Specialist is to make work-life easier for all members and guests of the Cogito team! This position will be initially a remote position but will transition to a hybrid of office based work and remote work.
