DEFINITION To maintain food service facilities in a clean and orderly condition; and to prepare and serve food to students. Job title Assistant Manager Reports to General Manager, Operations Department Operations FLSA Status Full-Time, Non-Exempt Position Summary Provides support and assistance to the unit manager in the areas of scheduling, time and attendance tracking, along with the supervision, coaching, and training of the unit employees, which consist of students, unions, and student managers. Must be 18 years of age or older Must have a valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation Open availability and ability to work a minimum of 5 days and 32 to 48 hours per week Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays Successful completion of background check Must possess leadership qualities, organizational skills, and ability to interact cooperatively with others 1-3 years management experience required Restaurant management experience preferred Capability Requirements The following capabilities are required to perform the essential functions of this position.
