Yaso Tangbao was born as a response to the evolving taste of a centuries old culinary culture, with a parallel mission to satisfy New Yorkers' taste buds.We are seeking a hardworking, intelligent, outgoing, and high energy individual to join us as a Restaurant Shift Manager!The Restaurant Shift Manager will report to the General Manager and assist in managing daily restaurant operation and overseeing the team in an effort to ensure amazing hospitality, a smooth operational flow, facility cleanliness, and staff efficiency.Job Responsibilities:Leads and/or performs the opening and closing proceduresManages the shift to ensure the lowest possible wait times and amazing hospitality while driving sales, reducing waste and upholding quality standardsManages shift labor to ensure proper staff utilization, proper employee breaks and overall labor efficiency during the shift, and address all time-clock issues on the shiftManages and ensures that all cash handling, reconciliation and credit card procedures are followed on the shift to ensure the safe-keeping of our employees and the security of all cash and credit card transactionsManages the cleanliness of the facility to exceed Department of Health standardsHandles the reporting of all product quality failures quickly and appropriatelyTakes the necessary steps to ensure that all equipment functions properlyAssist with inventory management and orderingTrains, coaches and guides team members and trainers during the shift and cultivates strong relationships with the team, the guests, and the vendorsBenefits and Others:This is a full-time positionSalary: $16.6 per hour with further room to growBonus: Quarterly performance compensationFree work mealsOther benefitsRequirementsJob Requirements:Minimum of High School DiplomaAt least 1-2 year of Restaurant Supervisor experience in a high volume, fast-paced restaurant environmentMust exhibit an aptitude for leading, coaching, and driving excellence at every levelExcellent communication skill and ability to inspire the team to drive hospitalityStrong work ethics and customer service experienceMust be detail-oriented and self-starterBe able to stay calm and react quickly to customer complaintsFood Protection Certificate required
