Serves food neatly and according to hospital food and nutrition standards.
Cleans and sanitizes work areas and equipment making sure that sanitizer is at the proper strength.
Delivery of food trays to patient areas as assigned.
POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY:
Under general supervision and according to established procedures, performs routine tasks associated with Hospitality and Nutrition Services including patient service or cafeteria service and dish room duties. Normally assigned to a specific service area, but may be required to assist in other capacities due to variations in work load and staffing. Responsible for handling food in accordance with the departmental and regulatory agency procedures and standards.
Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions. Prior experience in food service work desirable.
