Role: Homes - Core Host - Sr Technical QA Analyst

Term: 12month contract

Location: Remote

Travel: N/A

Job Duties

• We're looking for someone who will:

• Exercise discretion and independent judgment to perform practical application of computer systems analysis and software quality assurance testing

• Analyze computer systems or programs and document test scenarios/plans which would validate expected system/software behavior

• Construct and execute Manual and Automated tests through a Behavior-Driven-Development (BDD) approach with Cucumber syntax

• Design QA framework & processes within a software development engineering team

• Provide support across multiple projects to ensure high-quality software releases

• Work to quickly become well-versed in the engineering teams product/domain space

• Provide input on requirements from the perspective of an end-user subject matter expert

• Produce qualitative and quantitative reporting to stakeholders including but not limited to: test coverage, test execution progress, bug counts, bug trends

• Coordinate and collaborate with 3rd party vendors and QA counterparts

• Ensure quality is consistent across all projects and is represented during project planning, development, and launches

Passion for SQA: Ability to teach/educate a variety of business & engineering stakeholders on QA methodologies and value propositions

Hard Skills:

Level of Experience

• 6+ years' experience in Software Quality Assurance Testing; performing Black and/or Grey Box testing with Customer Facing UI/UX and Back-End System Testing (consisting of Desktop Web API, Mobile Web, Native Device Testing, SQL, and Systems Integration testing)

• 4+ years' experience being a QA Project Lead; driving/leading medium to large QA efforts; (allocated work among analysts, creating Test Plans, Test Suites, and Reporting)

• 5+ years' experience with UI Software QA

• 4+ years' experience with Desktop Web testing

• 4+ years' experience with Mobile Web testing

• 3+ years' experience with Native Device Testing (iOS, Android)[1] [2]

The following are valued but not required:

• Experience with Automated UI Testing OR a background in Computer Engineering & White Box testing (web, mobile web, native app, and API testing)

• Knowledge of or experience with BDD/cucumber framework

• Experience working with Xray test case management tool
