Job Title: Data Steward - III

Location: 351 North Sumneytown Pike PO Box 1000, North Wales, PA 19454 / Remote

Duration: 3+ months (possible extension)

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of Eight (8) years of Experience in Master Data / Data Governance Lead
  • Strong SAP and non-ERP Master Data experience - Ability to work with different end users/clients
  • Experience on MDM, Syniti or back office Tool experience required Tibco experience
  • Project management and demonstrated Leadership experience .
  • Experience on data definition, Business rule creation, data governance policy and Stewardship
  • Bachelor's Degree in a business concentration in Supply Chain, Project Management, Logistics Planning, Procurement, Finance, Human Resources, Business Planning or equivalent required.
  • Broad understanding and knowledge of applicable business processes at Pharma industry is required.
  • Presentation skills - Solid oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Teamwork, Collaboration and Inclusive Behaviors are required.
  • Project management - Knowledge of Operational Excellence, Six Sigma and Lean Principles preferred.
  • Knowledge on latest Master data management and governance tools are required.
  • Leadership skills & consultative skills - Recommending master data governance requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for leadership in the design and implementation of Master Data management and governance strategies across the workstreams and enterprise. Strategies are to be developed within global business processes and associated master data necessary for the SAP & non SAP platform business operations.
  • Responsibilities include defining the organizational goals, measures of success, staff sizing, job roles, adopting and refining known process definitions and operating procedures, and developing service level agreements. The incumbent must ensure that the design includes functional capability such as the definition of data policy, execution of change management processes for data definitions and business rules, measurement, monitoring, and reporting on data quality, determining appropriate security access, resolving data usage issues, and resolving business issues and continuous improvements through data analytics.
  • The position includes responsibility for direct reports in coordinating activities, supervision, and hire-to-retire human resources activities. In addition the position is responsible for strategy development, business processes, data architecture, data analytics and manage delivery of master data management through the SAP and Non SAP systems.
  • The incumbent will be responsible of applying global processes, policies, SLA's and change management. In this capacity, the incumbent must demonstrate organizational leadership, the ability to manage a service to sustain and improve operational capability, and the ability to manage internal customers and demand for services.
  • The incumbent needs to stay current with industry best practices, and participate as a member of internal/external communities of practice. The incumbent's responsibilities can be global, regional or site depending on position within the business process, but encompasses all master data principles. The position requires strategic development for data architecture across business process and integrated system to SAP & non SAP systems.

Primary Activities - Key Activities include but not limited to:

  • Interact with senior leaders to assess and understand business requirements, communicate project plans and status.
  • Interact as a leader on global, regional and site projects under the direction of Director of Master Data..
  • Manages change to information definition and rules.
  • Monitors, measures, and sustains data quality and resolves issues.
  • Manages and communicates business value of master data management and data governance principles.
  • Translate business requirements to project plans, organization design and service management.
  • Manage project plans and mitigate risks to ensure successful on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with demonstrated experience working with global and cross-functional teams.
  • Identify best practices using Six Sigma methodologies for information quality practices, standards and principles, continuous improvements though data analytics..
  • Determines system access rights and secure information
