Exciting opportunity for a Project Manager with previous beverage or packaging experience to join a well known beverage company.
The candidate will be interfacing with customers, vendors, and construction crew. This opportunity has great potential for upward mobility. This is an addition to the client's current business line.
2-5 years of project management and related experience; experience in one of the following fields: beverage or packaging preferred
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Project Management Professional (PMP)/ PRINCE II certification is a plus
Determines and defines project scope and objectives
Predicts resources needed to reach objectives and manages resources in an effective and efficient manner
Prepares budgets based on scope of work and resource requirements
Tracks project costs to meet budget
Develops and manages a detailed project schedule and work plane
Provides project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders regarding strategy, adjustments and progress
Manages contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
Utilizes industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
Monitors progress and adjusts as needed
Measures project performance to identify areas for improvement
Manages the relationship with clients and all stakeholders
Performs risk management to minimize project risks
Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation
Meets with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements
Maintains a safe and secure work environment, including correcting unsafe acts/conditions
Establishes and maintains an employee relations climate of trust and confidence, promoting achievement of plant objectives
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
Works in a manufacturing environment
This position is exposed to occupational hazards, including but not limited to high noise levels, physical obstacles, exposure to chemicals, etc.
Must wear appropriate safety glasses, hearing protection, clothing, and footwear in appropriate areas and follow safety practices
Able to lift up to 50 pounds
