Job Description

Tapestry Consulting, LLC is a Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Consulting firm headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. Ayanna Cummings, CEO of Tapestry Consulting, LLC, incorporated in GA in 2019, has been hired to conduct a marketing campaign for direct marketing via face-to-face reach with local food vendors and suppliers.

In this role, the Marketing Specialist will go door to door for contact with local food vendors & suppliers such as food trucks, restaurants, caterers, and other food suppliers, in order to provide information about a potential business opportunity with Compass Group , the largest food supplier in the world which employs 600,000 globally and has about 55 brands to date.

We are looking for diverse and local food vendors & suppliers and already have a list of points of contact with various restaurateurs in the greater Atlanta area . In addition to this curated list, the Marketing Specialist may find other food vendors & suppliers that they think fit within the framework identified for this contract. These can be added to the list as needed.

Virtual training will be provided via Zoom prior to the first start date.

The target for the Marketing Specialist will be to reach a minimum of 25 food vendors & suppliers on a weekly basis. The 1099- based contract will last a total of 4 weeks maximum. This means that the Marketing Specialist will reach a minimum of 100 food vendors & suppliers for the duration of this contractual relationship.

Upon submission of a W9 and direct deposit form, weekly direct deposits or paper check payrolls will be run with a $50 per diem (per week) on top of the base pay rate for gas and mileage on the vehicle used . The Marketing Specialist must have reliable transportation with a minimum Georgia bodily injury and property damage coverage insurance policy (Georgia law requires $25,000 per person/$50,000 per accident) on that vehicle and be willing and able to drive throughout the metropolitan area to fulfill this strategic mission.

The Marketing Specialist must be able to pass a background check with driving history check to qualify, but no other experience is necessary or required.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to set their own hours and work a flexible schedule of their own choosing.

Regular contact with the CEO of the company will be facilitated via phone and email, so you must also have a means of communication, including a cellular telephone with reliable internet access. A company email account will be assigned upon hire.

Job Requirements:
  • Handout marketing materials to potential business partners
  • Gather insights into the potential suppliers' interest in the business opportunity
  • Keep a running log of points of contact, phone numbers, email addresses, and other pertinent information via Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet
  • Speak clearly and professionally
  • Maintain professional dress and demeanor at all times
