Job Description

Dine In Connecticut is a unique company that sits on top of the CT Restaurant Industry.

Our Tag Line is Connecticut's Food Delivery Network - we use this because we have a helicopter view of the three components of Food Delivery.

1) The Customers. Nothing happens without having customers. We have a client centric view of the industry which differs from the order centric view of the national non profit delivery services. We want to acquire new clients then keep them forever. We take it personally if a client goes elsewhere. There many many steps we take to solidify the relationships which we can over in the interview.

2) The Mobile Waiters. In this day of the mercenary gig-worker, the key to building an ever growing delivery force is ensuring a win-win relationship with each of the Mobile Waiters that have proven themselves. We seek Mobile Waiters that are customer service oriented, not tip-oriented. We arm them with everything they need to be successful if they bring professionalism and organization to their self owned delivery companies.

3) The Restaurants. We are the marketing and sales arm of the restaurants we choose to partner with. If they are willing to put the effort in, we can bring them a substantial incremental sales volume, however they will get out of it what they put into it. The national non-profits simply tell them they will get more orders. Our unique position helps us bring them the orders they never would have received from an "App" company. Large Breakfast, lunch and dinner catering orders and venue partnerships are our specialty. Again something go over in an interview.

So a General Manger will have their hands in all 3 of these areas and:

  • Creating and enforcing procedures worthy of a concierge level company
  • Instituting goals, staff meetings, tracking results, and tweaking
  • Taking all of our vertical channels to specialization status (Places, Healthcare, Sports, Corporate, Residential, Educational etc..)
  • Implementing what the owner already has vetted and knows works in real time removing anyone or anything in the way.

Job Requirements:

The individual will be able to:

Think abstractly

Work in a very fast paced many moving pieces scenario

Build teams to handle things the right way the first time

Foresee what may go wrong and stop it

Work closely with the owner to implement his agenda
