Cake Decorator

Known for our old-fashioned good food, hospitality and excellent bakery, we are looking for a full-time cake decorator.

You would be responsible for baking your own cakes, supplying decorated cakes, cookies, cupcakes, etc. for the retail bakery cases, and taking custom orders for special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, weddings, etc. and generally making people smile. We primarily use buttercream frosting.

Hours: Full-time, 8am-4:30 pm, including Saturday. Times may be adjusted to fit business needs and can be somewhat flexible.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have at least one year cake decorating experience, with experience using buttercream frosting
• Be responsible and have a friendly attitude towards guests and co-workers
• Be able to prioritize and ensure that orders are done on time and to guest specifications
• Keep cake decorating room clean and organized, following food safety guidelines
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
