Job Description:

The Stroke Coordinatoris a Registered Nurse who provides support and assists in the delivery ofquality patient care. The primary responsibility is continuum of stroke carefor patients. The Stroke Coordinator will ensure continuity between clinicalpractice and standards of care to patients with diagnosis of stroke. Thisindividual works collaboratively with physicians, nurse and case managers andother health care disciplines utilizing a team approach. This position willserve as a leader, role model and mentor to facilitate each professionalproviding care to stroke patients. This individual will report directly to theCNO as an in-house clinical consultant regarding excellence in clinical care.


  • 4 year Bachelor Degree
  • Current BCLS and ACLS certifications
  • RN license in the state of FL
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively inEnglish
  • Strong computer knowledge preferred
  • Previous experience working with Stroke patients in anacute hospital setting highly preferred
