Terrasoul Superfoods is searching for a full-time Director of Financial and Operational Accounting that will be based out of our headquarters in Fort Worth, TX. This is a hands-on position managing the accounting function.


  • Manage and direct the accounting team responsible for Inventory, Billing, Accounts Payable and General Accounting
  • Oversee the monthly and year-end close procedures within established deadlines
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP and tax reporting requirements
  • Coordinate with Tax & Audit firm for client prepared information in support of annual reporting & filing requirements
  • Implement and enforce strong internal control procedures
  • ¬∑Review and approve work of staff including JEs, transactions, reconciliations and reports
  • Ensure the accuracy of the company's balance sheet and P&L with particular focus on key accounts and results
  • Identify process inefficiencies and implement tools and procedures that remediate issues
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that document the company's positions and processes
  • Provide guidance and leadership for accounting staff ensuring a team dynamic that supports the business


  • Accounting or Related Degree Required
  • CPA Required
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience with a strong preference for manufacturing experience
  • Minimum of 3 years in managing staff
  • Excellent written & oral communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications with particular focus on Excel
  • Experience working with inventory management tools as well as GL and related subledger packages
  • Ability to work in physical office environment
