Beechwood Home is a 5-STAR not-for-profit nursing facility located in Hyde Park. We do not have any cases of Covid among our residents!

We specialize in providing high quality long-term care for neurological residents. Our 80 residents participate in therapeutic and recreational activities that assist in their optimal functioning. The ideal candidate will enjoy supervising our wonderful team of LPNs and STNAs on a full-time basis. Must be proficient with Point Click Care. Have knowledge of resident conditions. Provide nursing care according to physician orders and recognized techniques and procedures.

Job responsibilities include:

• Maintain resident's chart according to the standards and regulations of licensing agencies and directions of the Nursing Department.
• Audit charts, MAR, nursing aide sheets, and treatment cards for required signatures then notify personnel of needed corrections and after corrections are made, put in chart.
• Act as source of information for residents and visitors on the nursing floor while maintaining resident privacy and security under HIPAA.
• Assist with transfer/consultation records.
• Coordinate assignments for nursing assistants.
• Post notices for lab studies, phone lab to schedule tests, complete lab requests, etc.
