Augustana Care Hastings Health and Rehabilitation Center, a 5-star rated, 80-bed long-term senior care health center, is seeking Temporary Dietary Aides/ Dining Room Servers to join our team!  In this entry-level role, you will gain valuable knowledge and experience by serving our residents, employees, and family members’ meals. Starting Wage: $13.01 / hour plus more for experience.

You must be at least 16 years old. Safety is our number one priority. Staff are provided with personal protective equipment. 

There are Temporary positions available. Hours: 6:15 am to 2:15 pm. Length of Assignment: 2+ months/ flexible

Dietary Aide responsibilities:

• Work within the department to provide quality and nutritious meals and service to residents.
• Assist with food preparation and serving meals to residents.
• Help maintain a clean and sanitary dietary department.
• Wash dishes and clean the kitchen and dining rooms.
• Assist residents, employees, and guests with a broad range of dietary needs.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, staff, and families.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

Dietary Aide skills and requirements: 

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Strong communication and customer service skills. 
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions. 
• Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
