Servers- PT Evening, Entry-level

Regent at Burnsville, a 148-bed independent and assisted living facility, is seeking compassionate Part-Time Servers to serve our residents, employees, and family member's meals. Our Dietary Department is a great group to work with and are valued by staff and residents alike.

No senior care experience necessary! We welcome candidates from all industries, including restaurant workers recently displaced from their current job and anyone with a passion for providing great customer service. We will train you for this position!

These are Part-Time positions working varying schedules including some weekends and holidays. Shift: Evening

Server responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service to residents, staff, and families.
• Take resident orders and serve meals when orders are ready.
• Work within the department to provide quality and nutritious meals and service to residents.
• Assist with food preparation and serving meals to residents.
• Help maintain a clean and sanitary dietary department.
• Wash dishes and clean the kitchen and dining rooms.
• Assist residents, employees, and guests with a broad range of dietary needs.
• Assemble items needed for meals and deliver meal carts to appropriate areas.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.  

Server skills and requirements: 

• Must be at least 15 years old. 
• Prior experience working with the elderly preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills.
• Restaurant experience a plus!
