Newton Village, a 5-star rated, 24-bed campus, is currently seeking Part-Time and Full-Time Dietary Aides to serve residents, employees, and family members’ meals. In this entry-level position you will be able to gain valuable knowledge and experience. Our Dietary Department is a great group to work with and are valued by the staff and residents alike.

This is a wonderful  dietary aide opportunity that offers guaranteed hours with the possibility of picking up shifts! Safety is our number one priority. Staff are provided with personal protective equipment. 

There are Part-Time and Full-Time, benefit eligible positions available working varied schedules including every other weekend. 

Full-Time hours: 6:00 am to 2:00 pm 

Part-Time hours: 6:00 am to 2:00 pm or 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Dietary Aide responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service to residents, staff, and families.
  • Work within the department to provide quality and nutritious meals and service to residents.
  • Assist with food preparation and serving meals to residents.
  • Help maintain a clean and sanitary dietary department.
  • Wash dishes and clean the kitchen and dining rooms.
  • Assist residents, employees, and guests with a broad range of dietary needs.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Dietary Aide skills and requirements:

  • Prior restaurant or healthcare experience preferred, but not required.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Selected candidates will be required to pass a background check.
