The VP of Business Development, Beverage Segment will engage with key decision-makers within strategic companies in the North American beverage industry in order to drive revenue growth for P.E. Labellers and Zalkin. The position will ensure that P.E. Labellers and Zalkin are represented well and that all leads and opportunities are aggressively pursued to ensure a positive outcome for ProMach. Working remotely, the position reports to the SVP Bottling & Capping / US Decorative Labeling and will work in close collaboration with the key leadership positions within P.E. Labellers, Zalkin and ProMach.
JOB DESCRIPTION:Drive revenue growth in the beverage segment through customer interaction and building relationships. Act as the Key Account Manager for all strategic beverage accounts. Set up face to face meetings with customers in an efficient yet productive manner. Leverage ProMach contacts and relationships in order to gain appointments and network. Develop and maintain positive relationships with key decision-makers within each beverage account and identify the willingness to partner with ProMach. Deliver world class presentations and sales collateral promoting the best possible brand image of P.E. Labellers and Zalkin. Organize top-to-top meetings with key decision makers and ProMach leadership. Organize technology demonstrations in ProMach USA and Europe facilities. Focus activity on P.E. Labellers and Zalkin products within high speed beverage applications. Generate leads for P.E. Labellers and Zalkin products and services. Deliver annual sales targets for customer visits, quotations and bookings. Connect key stakeholders at P.E. Labellers and Zalkin to the subject matter experts at the key accounts. Participate in Voice of the Customer (VOC) activities to help gather actionable feedback from customers. Manage leads and opportunities using salesforce.com. Provide key monthly data to management, such as leads, opportunities, quote activity, bookings and forecasts. Liaise with P.E. Labellers and Zalkin organizations for contract reviews, order entry and clarification of order details. Collaborate with Sales Leaders at P.E. Labellers and Zalkin. Obtain critical customer feedback and effectively communicate it to the organization. Negotiate deals with the assistance of the SVP, General Manager or Sales Director of each division. Provide feedback to ProMach leadership regarding market trends, competition and risk. Contribute to the annual plan and strategic objectives of P.E. Labellers and Zalkin with quarterly review. Identify new product development opportunities based on customer requests and/or market opportunities. Develop and manage relationships with key partners in the industry as necessary (i.e. filler manufacturers and integrators). Provide feedback to the customer service teams of P.E. Labellers and Zalkin. Participate in trade shows or special commercial events as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum 10 years prior experience in sales / key account management in the beverage industry. Track record of interfacing with and selling to key decision makers in large organizations. Bachelor's Degree in engineering or business. Strong technical knowledge of packaging and/or capital equipment required. Strong knowledge and experience using salesforce.com. Must have strong listening skills. Ability to interface effectively with customers at various levels within the organization. Self-motivated, sense of urgency, personable, customer-focused and well organized. Willing and able to travel at least 75% of the time. Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills.
