HR Benefits SpecialistLocation: Charlotte, NCType of Work: Contract; part time, flexible.Hours: 8:00 to 4:30; 9:00 am - 5:30 pm. Can work as late as 6:30; Overtime when needed.Job Summary: Administering the organization's benefits programs (e.g. 401K, FMLA/STD/LTD, wellnessprograms insurance policies.Duties: Researching and analyzing benefits plans, programs, and policies; Making recommendations based on data analyses; Monitoring government regulations, legislation, and benefits trends; Working with insurance brokers and benefits careers; Managing the enrolment, renewal, and distribution processes; Managing the regular bill, complete regular spending report of self -funded plan andreconciliation with GL report; Provide the feedback, solutions and recommendation to employees regarding of all benefit related questions; Recommendation to annual spending; Regular bill verify and reconciliation.Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience; 10 years dedicated experience in Benefit plan management and practice; Proficient to use all data management and analysis tools, such as MS Excel; Familiar with benefit carrier in the market as well the web portal; Strong communication and interpersonal skills, result driven; Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions; Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to work with HR team, Employees, Insurance brokers, benefit carriers, and Service vendors related to CB.
